The 'Nada' design
Nada, a 16-year-old student, is the creative mind behind this design. We're breaking our own rule because she deserves recognition. We asked her about her favorite color—sky blue—and decided to give Nada the sky. We modified her original drawing slightly (and with her permission!), just to give another feel to the concept. You can't go wrong with either version because both will bring a smile to your face and brighten Nada's.
Nada, along with her sister Hayat (check out Hayat's design!), and the rest of the family have made it out of Gaza. Now in Cairo, the family struggles continue as the adults are not allowed to work legally, making food, shelter, and education uncertain.
