Hadeel is a 27-year-old architectural engineer, entrepreneur, and content creator from Deir al Balah. She had a thriving social media presence where she shared tips and support to those seeking to create their own content in the digital age.

Strength and resilience are deeply rooted in Hadeel’s family. After her father passed, Hadeel’s mother worked tirelessly to provide a safe and secure future for her children, each with their own incredible ambition and drive towards a prosperous future.

Hadeel is the eldest—an architectural engineer turned entrepreneur turned content creator with a budding global following. Mawada (25) has followed her passion of graphic design, creating beauty in the world around her. Haneen (23) received top marks on her business administration thesis and was close to wrapping up her education and making her mark on the world. Fadi (20) has great plans to become a great web developer. He was deep in his studies before everything came to a halt.

The final member of the family is Hadeel’s beloved cat, Sukkar. سكر (sukar) is the Arabic word for sugar and we couldn’t agree more that Sukkar is as sweet as it gets.

The family has been displaced several times since October. The home that Hadeel’s mother worked so hard to provide has been completely destroyed, along with Hadeel’s recording studio. Hadeel and Mawada’s budding careers have been disrupted, as electricity and internet connection is scarce. Haneen and Fadi’s education has come to a sudden stop.

Despite everything, Hadeel has not lost her faith in humanity.

It didn’t take us long to figure out what concept we thought would be perfect for Hadeel’s design. Sukkar is Hadeel’s beloved companion. He is her comfort and her joy. “Sukkar is my cat, my first cat, the one who introduced me to a lovely world full of happiness,” she writes in her GFM. “He is 2 years old now. We met in Istanbul when he was only 40 days old, and since then we can't separate…All I want for him is to be safe away from this horrible war.”

Hadeel’s vibrant and cheerful personality complements Sukkar's warmth and comfort, creating the perfect design for our beautiful Pal.
